Working up an appetite after a weird day of wig shopping we decided to flock off to a new adventure. We've been hearing amazing things, non-stop since it's opening, about a little downtown sausage eatery for the last 6months . Wurstkuche was everything the mouth watering rumors suggested and more. With choices like bacon and duck or rattle snake and rabbit sausages (which Whitney braved) how can you go wrong. Oh Oh Oh... for anyone else who is a condiment freak out there the options are endless...we decided to go for the pesto, BBQ, honey mustard and curry ketchup.

After filling our bellies with big beers and spruced up German delights we dilly dallied on over to a tattoo parlor that our good buddy Casino suggested and got Katie her long awaited and much anticipated 10 inch tattoo ( Height to ride requirement jokes commenced).

As night fell and fatigue set in we gleefully roamed upstairs to our neighbors house (Dasha and Kevin) for some dirty martini's and dirty jokes as a quick picker upper. At the same time Vanessa our beautiful Posso shows up to Chez Flock with Justin Miller and our new super dope homies from LCD Soundsystem (ummmmm).

Keeping in true bird form we suggested after a failed party attempt to have everyone for drinks, fun and rabblerousing at our place. OHHH THE MADNESS, DANCING, LAUGHING and 4:30 am salads.

COOL DICKS!

We went from the grocery store where Cory Nitta, DJ du jour, ran around like a bear with a bee in it's ass, to Chez Posso where the cacophony of goods Cory bought at the store became a symphony of tasty delights, to the pool where we lounged while being seranaded by Mr.Nitta's latest mixes. COOL DICK....is pretty much all we have to say.

After leaving the pool and running home for a quick rinse we stopped by pub quiz at Malo run by Chris Holms and Har Mar. Unfortuantly for the "Cool Dicks"(us) it was senior citizen night as the questions being asked pre-dated all of our births (... possibly our parents) lending to our score of 3 out of a possible 30.

Exceeding expectations by leaps and bounds of what neighbors should be we were more than happy to join our neighbor Kevin, his brother Kyle (both screen writers and musicians) and Kevin's super hot wife Dasha (actress...see her soon in Zombieland) for Kevin's 26th B-day. Dasha being like a crack pixie ( in the way that we can't get enough of this charming Russian beauty) and Kevin being cooler than a Mudslide at Dave and Busters we rolled up to a Pirate themed bar in K-town where we were served mini donuts and tons of hugs. Our last stop dealt us alongside Erin and our newest robin-like bird Lindsey to see the rarely encountered, but highly stimulating Gogol Bordello at 3 of Clubs. Let us not delve into the unprecedented and mind-blowing menage of genre bending music played during his set he so honestly enlightened us with that evening, for it was far better than words may describe. These are the heat enduring day activities that so rarely get seen. There are some projects to be made verrry soon and we needed to gather the goods around the biggest craft mall there is, Los Angeles. We ventured to the little knittery in Atwater village so crocheting can begin, then to the Hollywood Fancy Feather Co. to obtain only the most beautiful natural and dyed ostrich feathers. Our travels also found us at kinkos where peculiar signage was displayed and finally to Yang Chow in Chinatown to enjoy the ever elusive and delicious slippery shrimp!
