village disco, bunnies, and turbans

Decided I would take Katie's turban for a spin to the disco infested with rabbits... I can see why they were so popular and Prada resurfaced the trend a few seasons ago. Had an offer to buy it off my head, buyer retreated after many relentless attempts and not an ounce of possibility.

The Times of Society

About a year ago I (brie) was lucky enough for the opportunity to intern with Society for Rational Dress and have since maintained a relationship with owner/designer Corinne Grassini. Recently she asked our assistance for an LA Times article about the retail store opening. We were so excited about the piece we each got for helping, we wore them the same night and have since already worn out.

birfday BIZ!

another birfday ascends upon our nest... happy HAPPY birthday katie!!

our adventure began with a stroll to a most magical, brilliant energy filled and lovely secret garden followed by the ever enticing and treacherous margaritas at el conquistador.

this was a happy day.

Starting the 12th at the art walk and going fantastically mad until V-Day; a romantic holiday normally spent with the ones we love. This was fortuitously flipped on it's romantic ass by a motley crew of dance addicts by bashing around town and having an all around stomping time. The crew consisted of Dustin, Jessie, Andy, Erin, B and I (Katie) with smatterings of Old Greg and random hotties. Just check the photos and you'll get the idea.

      as it turns out, all of my dearest friends, Katie the ultimate culprit, are magnificent liars, and I (brie) am THE most gullible being....

   thank you thank you to everyone who attended the celebration of my birth and helped make it special & my best birthday to date!!!

   this was night two which included fancy fire seductresses who danced the rain away but for a brief moment...

  unfortunately there were no decent photos of ensembles from either night... perhaps we will re-enact so we can post..
